The area just inland from Oamaru along the Waitaki River is becoming more and more known for its stunning landscapes, delectable wines and the authenticity of the experience you can enjoy in this quintessential South Island heartland. The travel section of the Otago Daily Times recently featured some of the attractions that make this our favourite part of the South Island, including Braided River Jet Boating, River-T Winery, and the new Nest Treehouses. To help make this experience easy for our guests, we have a package available that combines all of these in a three- or four-night getaway, perfect to help refresh yourself from the daily grind.

The three-day package includes two nights at Pen-y-bryn with dinner on your arrival night, one night at Nest Treehouses with breakfast and dinner, a 3-hour walk with Sole to Soul, a half-day with Braided River Jet Boats, and a wine tasting with lunch platter at River-T Winery for $3225 including GST. The four-day package adds an extra day at Nest Treehouses and costs $3815. Of course, like all our packages, we can mix and match to suit your particular interests and available time.
