A visit to the Waitaki District would not be complete without a stay in the stunningly beautiful countryside of the Waitaki Valley, just 45 minutes away from Pen-y-bryn. We have teamed up with Nest Tree Houses to offer you an experience that is literally the best of both worlds, combining a stay at Pen-y-bryn with a stay in their specially designed treehouses.

This package can be tailored to suit your time constraints, but is best experienced over four nights, two each at Pen-y-bryn and Nest Tree Houses, offering the best opportunity for fine weather and ample time to enjoy the many activities on offer at both sites.

A typical four-night package includes the following:

Two nights in an Annex room at Pen-y-bryn
Dinner and accompanying wines on your arrival night at Pen-y-bryn
Tickets to the Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony’s premium seating on your second night
Two nights at Nest Tree Houses in a deluxe treehouse
Bubbles and Bites on arrival at Nest Tree Houses
Dinner provisions on one night at Nest Tree Houses (additional night available at additional cost)
Wine tasting at River-T Estate cellar door
